In association with the District Health Department, we organized a special program on the SPARSH Leprosy Awareness Program for rural people in our training hall, Rasingapuram. This program is organized under the National Leprosy Eradication Plan (NLEP) in Theni District. 

The resource persons from the health department have provided guest lectures on the formation of leprosy, care, and support of leprosy persons in the family, eradication, and treatment of leprosy in government hospitals, and procedural aspects, and functions of skin Care, etc., The resource persons requested the participants to spread out the knowledge and eliminate the misconception and stigma about Leprosy. Over 50 more public and women benefited from this program. 

Since organic agriculture systems are knowledge-based, new entrants and transitional producers must become familiar with the sound and sustainable organic agricultural practices. Considering the aforesaid concepts, the farmers in the villages in Bodinayakkanur block have been organized and trained on the following subjects to make organic farming a successful farming system. 

A demo pit was created by the resource person who explained how to select the vermin, maintenance of compost pit, procure the vermin manure, apply it to the farm field, and the importance of vermin compost, etc., Over 50 more farmers and women are benefited by this program. 

To develop the Farmers community in our working region, to become Entrepreneur and access the real benefits of their farm produces, we organized a special program on Farmers Entrepreneurs on Export Awareness Meeting. This meeting facilitates over 50 more small and marginal farmers to understand the export procedures, value addition of their farm produce and marketing it globally to produce profits.
